前言 我国大多数城乡居民家中部有贮存一定数量各类食品的习惯,加大米、面粉、豆类、干果、中药材滋补品等等。但每当春暖花开,梅雨季节到来时,此类食品常常容易遭受虫蛀,霉菌为害,所造成的损失难以计数。为了减少虫、霉为害的损失,曾经有人使用能挥发辛辣气味的物品,如大蒜、花椒、柑桔果皮等置于盛米容器之中,虽能起到一定拒虫效果,但对于虫害已经发生的大米、面粉等,防虫效果欠佳。至于当前大型国家粮库使用杀虫药剂为磷化铝片剂、DDVP、马拉硫磷等。由于此类药剂存在毒性高,操作不安全,以及环境污染、农药残留等问题,若将此种方法用于防治普通城乡居民家庭贮藏食品中的害虫。显然是行不通的。
