国防是国家安全和发展的保障。作为和平时期国防建设的重要内容,国防教育始终得到党和政府的重视,我国普通高等院校的国防教育更为国人关注。本文对新中国建立60年来的普通高等院校国防教育进行回顾,总结经验教训,以供新世纪新阶段借鉴,并依据信息时代的特点,把我国普通高等院校的国防教育推向一个新的高潮。
National defense is the guarantee of national security and development. As an important part of national defense construction in peacetime, national defense education has always been valued by the party and government. National defense education in ordinary colleges and universities in our country is even more of a concern to the public. This article reviews the national defense education of institutions of higher learning in the past 60 years since the founding of New China, summarizes the experience and lessons learned for reference in the new phase of the new century and, according to the characteristics of the information age, advances the national defense education in ordinary colleges and universities to a new climax.
