新春2号(品系号40—7)是新疆采用杂交和辐射相结合方法育成的第一个春小麦品种.新春2号的选育,始于1974年元月配制赛洛斯×奇春4号杂交组合,所得F_0代干种子经~(θ0)Coγ射线8,000伦琴辐照,然后经多代单株选择,至1979年形成品系.在1981—1983年自治区春小麦区域试验中,新春2号平均单产675斤,比对照品种巴春1号增产12.1%,居第一位.在1983—1984年石河子地区区域试验中,其平均单产715.7斤,比对照品种赛洛斯增产13.3%,居第一位.
Xinchun 2 (strain 40-7) is the first spring wheat cultivated in Xinjiang by a combination of hybridization and radiation.The breeding of New Year 2 began in January 1974 with the hybridization of Cyrus × Qichun 4 , The resulting seeds of F_0 seeds were irradiated with 8,000 Roentgen by ~ (θ0) Coγ ray and then selected by many generations to form a strain in 1979. In the spring wheat regional experiment of Autonomous Region from 1981 to 1983, the average yield of Xinchun 2 was 675 kg , Which was 12.1% higher than the control variety Bachun 1. The average yield of 715.7 kg in the Shihezi region from 1983 to 1984 was 13.15% higher than that of the comparative cultivar Cyrus, ranking the first place.
