In order to verify the laboratory effect of oxygen or hyperbaric oxygen on the prevention of acoustic damage in animals or humans, in 1984 we went to the Navy’s naval forces and infantry fighting units to observe the role of oxygen inhalation in the hearing of unprotected warriors. First, the oxygen of training Navy sailors hearing protection role observation. In the three experiments, a total of 25 officers and soldiers of the army with normal hearing were selected as subjects. Twelve of them inhaled pure oxygen (10 liters / min) for 30 minutes 40 minutes before departure or half an hour after disembarkation, and the other 13 did not receive oxygen as control. All the ear protectors were used to set sail ear during flight. After being exposed to the noise of turbine, the number of hearing loss and the speed of recovery were observed to determine the effect of oxygen inhalation. Three tests to prevent oxygen exposure before the sound exposure, once the oxygen exposure after sound exposure. Sound exposure before oxygen test each selected 4 oxygen inhalers, 4 as a control.
