In recent years, the large-scale forest fires around the world have caused a series of serious impacts on natural resources, ecological environment and people’s lives and property, which has drawn more and more attention from the governments of relevant countries. In recent years, the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany and South Korea have made use of modern computer technology to try to predict and guide forest fires and have achieved varying degrees of success. China University of Science and Technology State Key Laboratory of Fire Science also participated in the Japanese fire department on the prediction of forest fires, got a lot of scientific data. This article describes some of the latest developments in this area for reference by relevant parties.
