五桂楼位于宁波市梁弄镇学堂弄。建于清嘉庆十二年(1807年),是诸生黄澄量的藏书楼,聚书五万余卷,有“浙东第二藏书楼”之称。现为省重点文保单位。黄氏上代有兄弟五人,同科中举,故称“五桂楼”。建筑占地面积107平方米,坐北朝南,三间二层楼,通面宽10.30米。勾连搭屋顶,呈众字形,有暗间起防漏作用。楼前有庭院,深8.6米。登五桂楼眺望,可一览四明七十二峰,故五桂楼又名七十二峰草堂。现悬挂的“五桂楼”匾额为清代书法家胡芹所书,“七十二
