外语教学是涉及培养人才素质的一门科学.如何使外语教学更富有成效是外语教育工作者长期以来一直在探索的问题。选择先进科学的方法和手段进行语言教学可事半功倍。当前各地围绕提高教学质量为中心的教改正在不断发展,外语教学改革尤为突出。选订新教材、采用新方法已成为趋势。中英合编的初中英语教材及教法正在试行,不期可能推广普及。为适应这一改革动向,我们结合目前我国外语教学的实际,分析研究了英国纳尔逊(Nelson)公司出版的《英语教法指南》(Teaching English as a ForeignLanguage,a Practical Guide)一书,编译出此文,让同行们对“TEAFL”(TeachingEnglish as a Foreign Language)英语教法有所了解,以便在外语教学中思考和借鉴。
Foreign language teaching is a science related to the cultivation of qualified personnel, and how to make foreign language teaching more fruitful has long been a problem that foreign language educators have been exploring. Choose advanced science methods and means of language teaching can do more with less. At present, the education reform around the improvement of teaching quality is continuously developing and the foreign language teaching reform is particularly outstanding. The selection of new textbooks, the use of new methods has become a trend. The Chinese-English compilation of junior high school English textbooks and teaching methods is being piloted, and may not be promoted. In order to adapt to the reform trend, we combine the current situation of foreign language teaching in our country to analyze and study the book “Teaching English as a Foreign Language, a Practical Guide” published by the British Nelson Company. Text, so that colleagues on the “TEAFL” (TeachingEnglish as a Foreign Language) English teaching method to understand, in order to think and learn in foreign language teaching.
