警察本科院校是公安教育的主要力量,它承担着学历教育和培训的双重任务。现行警察本科院校由于政策的保护,学历教育主要面向公安机关。社会形势的变化对警察素质提出了更高的要求,公务员招录日益透明化和规范化,警察本科院校应积极适应形势,赋予学历教育和培训新的内涵,培训主要以双学位和专升本为载体展开,而学历教育应面向社会,以市场为导向。
