伴随着丝绸之路的繁荣,中国诗歌在唐代也达到了繁荣的顶峰。《群玉山头》自1929年正式出版以来已再版十余次,目前仍是英语世界中影响力最大的《唐诗三百首》译本。英译主笔者陶友白(Witter Bynner,又译作维特·宾纳)虽然对其中部分西域地名、族名的简化处理方式予以说明,但在具体英译过程中却因为语境或韵律原因而多有出入。另外,在此译本出版至今近一个世纪的时间里,西域研究又有大量新成果涌现,部分西域地名和族名已逐渐融入英语成为相对常见的词汇。据此,我们可以勘校某些舛误,从而让此旧译作在“一带一路”文化建设新时期焕发出新的生命力。

Accordingly, we can devise some mistakes so that the old translation can give new vitality to the new era of “Belt and Road” cultural construction.
