大黄的泻下作用在中医古代文献中早有记载。我们在以往研究的基础上,进一步观察了大黄对肠管内水份及电解质的影响,以探讨其泻下作用的原理。实验方法一、肠道内容物推进功能和排出时间的测定见以往报导。二、肠道内水份和电解质移行速度按Gordon-Chadwick(1979)体内环封法稍加改良测定。实验时,采用雄性大白鼠,体重300克左右。动物经腹腔麻醉后于右下腹开口约3~4厘米,暴露盲肠,找到回盲瓣,将回盲口下端进行结扎,然后在盲肠端开一小口,
The purgative effect of rhubarb has been documented in ancient Chinese literature.
