针对传统Gray映射在中高信噪比区域内对系统性能改善有限,通过调整比特位置分配,基于互信息分析提出一种新颖的16QAM星座映射方案,该方案提高了映射比特位的不等保护度。并根据互信息设计准则,仿真分析了不同调制映射方案下BICM-ID系统的调制受限信道容量,仿真分析表明:在中高信噪比下,新映射方案较传统Gray映射方案在信道容量上的提高最高可达2.38bit/channel。
Aiming at the limited improvement of the system performance in the area of high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), the traditional Gray mapping improves the system performance by adjusting the bit position allocation. Based on the mutual information analysis, a novel 16QAM constellation mapping scheme is proposed, which improves the unequal degree of protection of mapping bits. According to the mutual information design criterion, the modulation limited channel capacity of the BICM-ID system under different modulation and mapping schemes is simulated and analyzed. The simulation analysis shows that the new mapping scheme has better performance than the traditional Gray mapping scheme Increase up to 2.38bit / channel.
