湖南省绥宁县第二中学蓼园文学社始建于1989年。文学社本着“活跃第二课堂,繁荣校园文化”的宗旨,以月刊《蓼园》为写作阵地,引导学生积极参加写作实践,开展多种形式的课余文化活动,如文学写作讲座、作品讨论交流、读书征文、社会实践调查等。2001年,蓼园文学社获“邵阳市一级文学刊物”光荣称号,多年来已有百余名社员在《中国校园文学》《作文周刊》《作文报》《作文与阅读》《邵阳日报》等几十种报刊上发表作品二百多篇。
