我院环境艺术系,以培养从事环境与建筑艺术规划设计的综合艺术人才为宗旨。环境艺术设计是以建筑艺术为主体,同时向宏观环境与微观环境扩展其设计领域的专业,是一门蕴含丰富、涉面极广的新兴的人文学科,与美术学院中其它造型专业相比,显得较为特殊。环境艺术人才既要面对艺术问题,又要面对技术问题;既要有一定的艺术素质,又要有建筑科学方面良好的基础,集感性与理性思维于一体,熔艺术与科学于一炉,这便构成了环境艺术人才知识结构上的多元性,也造成环境艺术人才的培养难度。因此,在整体的环境艺术综合教学的调控下,设置一套适合于环境艺术自我体系的设计基础教程是十分必要的。
