2001年1月16日至18日,全国司法厅(局)长会议在北京会议中心召开。室外瑞雪飘飘,室内春意盎然。全体会议代表群情振奋,对新世纪的司法行政工作充满了美好的憧憬和无比的信心。笔者对这次会议有三点深切感受:一、会议体现了司法部党组求真务实的工作作风,催人奋进,令人鼓舞为这次会议的准备,张福森部长先后进行了包括江苏张家港在内的五次调研活动,召开了不同层次的多个座谈会,充分研究了全国司法行政工作的情况,尤其是在新形势下党委政府对司法行政工作的新要求。因此会议的内容充分体现了实事求是的精神,深得各地代表的共鸣和拥护。司法行政“九五”发展成绩令人鼓舞,“九五”经验催人奋进,对“九五”存在问题和教训的分析切中肯綮,
