1978年河南油田进入注水开发期,为掌握油藏水淹规律、油藏水驱效果、油层物性变化、剩余油分布以及落实油藏最终采收率,进行了多口井的密闭取心。但由于大部分密闭取心井密闭率低,没有取得理想的效果。检7井是使用河南石油勘探局勘探开发研究所研制的HY-92密闭液钻的第一口密闭取心井。密闭取心要求钻井液API滤失量小于2.3 mL,密闭率达到70%。在诸多影响密闭率的因素中,地层岩性、含水饱和度是不可控的客观因素,机械钻速也只能在有限的范围内提高,因此影响密闭率的主要可控因素是钻井液滤失量及密闭液的性能。
