我国曾经是世界上公认的自行车王国。上世纪80年代,自行车出行分担率一度达到60%。但是,近20年来自行车交通处于弱势发展地位,受机动化干扰现象严重,存在行车停车不便、被机动车占道、骑行安全得不到保障、汽车尾气威胁人们健康等问题。自行车出行的逐渐衰落,令人惋惜。我们来看两组数据:常规自行车保有量大幅下降,从2001年的6.7亿辆下降到2013年的3.7亿辆;常规自行车出行分担率大幅下降,以北京为例,自行车分担率从1990年的54.0%下降到2016年的12.4%。
Our country was once the world recognized bicycle kingdom. In the 1980s, the share of bicycle trips once reached 60%. Taking Beijing as an example, the share of bicycles from 1990 54.0% dropped to 12.4% in 2016.
