李泊,又名李谦让,1921年4月29日出生于河北省任邱县,父亲李韶华,一生从事教育工作。李泊少年时代随父亲在河北省赵州读小学。受家庭影响,他在文学才智方面早熟,小学生的李泊,就已学会填词、写诗。中学考入保定培德,高中尚未毕业,爆发“七七”事变,华北大片土地沦丧,李泊不能再呆在故乡读书了,此时不幸又染上结核病,只好前往天津叔父家医治肺病。目睹日寇的肆虐、暴行,李泊写了不少抗日爱国的新诗,如收入他诗集《铁索桥》里的“国民身份证”、“有一面旗”等。1940年前后,李泊考取中央政大新闻系学习。当时的重庆,是抗战时期国民党
