The city’s total population of 1.187 million, an area of 3178 square kilometers, administer a county three districts (Xinyu National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Fenyi County, Yushui, Fairy Lake Scenic Area). In 2014, the traffic mileage of the whole city was 4191 kilometers, with 265,000 motor vehicles, of which 108,000 were automobiles,
