消渴饮能降低四氧啶和肾上腺素所致的小鼠高血糖，并能降低链脲霉素所致的大鼠高血糖，但对正常大鼠的血糖无影响。
Diabetes drink can reduce hyperglycemia in mice induced by tetracycline and epinephrine, and can reduce streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemia in rats, but has no effect on blood glucose in normal rats.
