在银行、商业、统计等部门,有大量的四则运算,目前开始采用台式机、袖珍机(电子计算器)来进行这些繁琐的计算工作。然而单纯使用这种电子计算器,还有许多不足之处。本文提出一种新的设计方案,使算盘与电子计算器有机结合起来,成为“电子算盘”。继承算盘的按位加减的优点和操作习惯,减少“0”键和功能键,提高加减操作速度,弥补电子计算器的不足。用电子计算器的芯片进行运算,并用数字显示,还可输出电信号,供存贮、打印等数字系统取用。也可以发展成计息记账机等数字处理系统的输入及简单处理部件。
