符号学作为人们认知事物,解释事物产生发展规律的方法学,将其应用于产品设计领域也具有现实意义。中国的产品设计面临着诸多问题,山寨现象尤为严重。山寨产品作为符号载体属于一种像似符号,山寨现象也是一种符号镜像现象。山寨产品在抄袭和仿制的背后隐藏的是创造力和文化内涵的缺失,山寨产品携带的像似符号很可能会给接受者造成“实有其事”的误会,这对中国产品设计的发展在一定程度上有所损害。但并非所有的像似符号都具有危害性,而合理的利用这种符号镜像会对产品设计的发展起到推动作用。本文将从符号镜像的角度,从山寨现象入手对中国的产品设计面临的真正问题进行分析。
Semiotics, as a cognitive method of people’s cognition, explains the methodology of the development of things, and applies it to the field of product design. China’s product design faces many problems, the cottage phenomenon is particularly serious. Cottage products as a symbol carrier belongs to a like symbol, cottage phenomenon is a phenomenon of symbolic mirror. What is hidden behind copycat and imitation is the lack of creativity and cultural connotations. The likeness of the copycat product may cause misunderstandings to the recipients. This is a misunderstanding of China’s product design To a certain extent, development has been harmed. However, not all like symbols are harmful, and rational use of this symbolic mirror image will play a catalytic role in the development of product design. This article analyzes the real problems facing China’s product design from the perspective of symbolism and from the phenomenon of cottage.
