医院档案是指医院在工作活动中形成的文件、簿册、图表、录音、录像、盘片等各种门类和各种载体的信息材料。医院档案的种类有:文书档案、基建档案、设备档案、会计档案、科研档案、声像档案、病历档案等。虽然随着经济和社会的发展,档案在医院管理中的地位和作用越来越被人们所重视,但是作为医院管理的一个重要组成部分,医院档案工作仍无法与日益发展的医疗、科研、教学工作相适应。
