4.2型万能中耕机在农场使用非常普遍,一般以三台一组,用11米联结器联结,由东方红54/75拖拉机牵引作业。在三江平原一些土质粘重地区,这种机组的灵活性很差。尤其是深松作业,土壤阻力变化大,作业时中耕机很不平稳,有时无法进行作业。只好把机车的作业速度放慢,并放大中耕机的护苗带的尺寸,勉强作业。因而严重影响中耕质量及机具效率。针对这种情况,我连将两台4.2型万能中耕机进行了改装,把原中耕机三角形排列,改为“一”字形横向排列,有效地提高了机组作业的稳定性。使耕作质量和效率大大提高。

So that farming quality and efficiency greatly improved.
