在国外的一次工业览展会上,展出了一个探海用的潜水球模型。这个球是用高强度的镍、铬、钼合金材料制造的,重12吨。探险家曾坐这种球潜入马利亚纳海,创造了11,000米潜水深度的世界纪录。在这样深的海底,球面要承受1,152公斤的压力。显然,这种潜水球除了应有足够的强度外还要有严密的结构。可是这个球的构件是互相粘合在一起的。捷克斯洛伐克也展出过用硬铝材料粘成的桥梁,桥长10米,宽2.65米,总载重量13吨,这座桥一共用了36公斤粘合剂。
At a trade show overseas, a model of diving ball for sea exploration was exhibited. The ball is made of high-strength nickel, chromium, molybdenum alloy material and weighs 12 tons. The explorer once sneaked into the Marianna Sea with this ball and created a world record of 11,000 meters deep. In such a deep sea, the sphere is under pressure of 1,152 kilograms. Obviously, this diving ball should have a tight structure in addition to sufficient strength. However, the ball’s components are bonded to each other. Czechoslovakia also exhibited a bridge made of hard aluminum. The bridge is 10 meters long, 2.65 meters wide, and has a total load of 13 tons. The bridge shares 36 kilograms of adhesive.
