某厂初轧车间系1960年开始施工,1962年正式交付使用。在使用后,整个车间沉降严重,特别是主电室部分的地基不均匀沉降更为突出,以致吊车滑轨,严重地影响正常的生产作业,虽几经对吊车轨道作调整垫高,但由于沉降过程持续较长,沉降稳定较慢,吊车滑轨仍不能得以根本解决。为此,调整轨道的工作不得不一再进行,累计的局部的高差值达300mm (指相对而言)。这样,吊车上部的净空受到较大的缩减,严重影响吊车的正常作业和运行。近年,沉降已趋稳定。因此,为了保证吊车运行作业所必需的空间,对此作了较为彻底的处理。
