木琴按奏法和构造特点可分为“横排”和“梯形”两种。木琴是由特殊的材料按十二平均律原理组成。总体结构可分为三大部分:琴键、共鸣筒、支架。它并不像其它旋律乐器(如:弦乐器或管乐器等)在发音上它单纯的靠木键本身的震动发音,然后经音筒的共鸣达到音色最佳效果。比较起来,在木琴的演奏上,如果不讲究方法,那么在演奏的过程中琴键的发音就可能变成噪音或者不能达到乐曲本身的音乐要求。当然,它作为交响乐队中的一种色彩乐器,必然要求其发挥应有的作用。那么科学地研究和总结木琴的发音方法和音色特点,对于演奏者本身的正确演奏有着重要的作用。

It is not like other melodic instruments (such as: stringed instruments or wind instruments, etc.) in pronunciation it simply by the pronunciation of wooden keys themselves, and then the resonance of the sound tube to achieve the best sound effects.
