Tm:YAG激光器有两个抽运通道,在680nm和780nm附近。680nm处的吸收系数约为780nm处的2.5倍。用694nm脉冲红宝石激光泵浦,实现2μm附近可调谐激光运转,斜率效率59%,调谐范围1.89~2.14μm。本文还讨论用680nm二极管激光器泵浦,实现低阈值、高效率、高输出Tm:YAG可调谐激光器的可能性。
Tm: YAG lasers have two pumping channels at around 680nm and 780nm. The absorption coefficient at 680 nm is about 2.5 times higher at 780 nm. Using a 694 nm pulsed ruby laser pump, a tuneable laser near 2 μm was achieved with a slope efficiency of 59% and a tuning range of 1.89 to 2.14 μm. This article also discusses the possibility of using a 680 nm diode laser pump to achieve a low-threshold, high-efficiency, high-output Tm: YAG tunable laser.
