中棉所10号,系中国农科院棉花研究所,于1975年开始从黑山棉一号中系统选择育成.1980、198l两年连续在本县小店公社参加《黄河流域棉区麦(油)棉连作棉花新品种区域试验势》,表现优异.产量均居首位,两年平均亩产皮棉124.81斤;较对照黑山棉一号增产36.2%.生育期102-112天,较对照早熟2-3天.绒长30.95-32.50毫米,衣分33.08～35.10%,铃重5.24～5.7克,霜前皮棉80%左右.但是必须良种良法紧密配合,才能获得较好的产量结果.
