Since the second half of 1989, a new term has emerged in China’s economic life and the market is weak. Surveys in Hangzhou indicated that there were 58.2% of the 520 products in the city’s industry, which were flat sales and unsalable sales. Of these, 270 major daily-use industrial products were reduced from 73 in the previous year to 17 in terms of tight sales. The number of flat sales increased from 197 in the first half of the year to 253, accounting for 93.7%.
