Colorimetric determination of low levels of tungsten, molybdenum, commonly used thiocyanate method were measured. However, this method is poor sensitivity. Analysis results for samples <0.01% or less are not good. Currently salicyl fluorone - cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide color system most sensitive, but tungsten, molybdenum mutual interference, titanium also has serious interference, often using pre-separation or reduction complex masking to eliminate interference.
