一中、小学学生负担过重,是几年来存在着的一个问题。一九五四年秋季以後,在部分地区和部分学校,这个问题变得更严重。学生负担过重的程度,各地及各学校不完全相同。一般是大、中城市的学校比小城市和农村的学校负坦重,中学比小学重,高年级比低年级重。在提高教育质量的工作中指导思想有偏差的地方,负担特别重。目前学生负担过重,主要是课业负担过重。课业负担过重的情况是多方面的。现用的各科教材有内容过深或分量过重等缺点,使教师掌握教材有困难,使学生学习有困难。不少教师授课讲解不清楚不透彻,教
The burden on an elementary and middle school student is a problem that has existed for several years. After the autumn of 1954, the problem became more serious in some regions and in some schools. The extent of students’ over-burdening is not exactly the same in all places and schools. Generally speaking, schools in large and medium-sized cities are more frustrated than those in small cities and rural schools. Secondary schools are heavier than primary schools, and senior schools are heavier than lower schools. In places where the guiding ideology is biased in the work of improving the quality of education, the burden is particularly heavy. At present, students are overburdened, mainly because of overburdened schoolwork. There are many aspects of overburdened schoolwork. The current teaching materials of various subjects have the disadvantages such as too deep content or heavy weight, which make it difficult for teachers to master the teaching materials and make it difficult for students to learn.
