云南东部及邻近地区是我国西部的强震活动地带,鉴于该区突出的地质结构条件,强震前直接前震较少,强震来得突然,因此该区的强震难于预测预报。但为了监视该区震情,我们对该区的强震在地震活动性上进行了一些研究工作,通过对八十多年的资料分析,我们初步发现本区强震活动存在着明显的阶段性,强震前中强地震异常活动清楚并有相关地震与之配合,如果再加之小震的空区、条带及低b值的异常等均可进一步作为未来强震发生的判别条件,这对我省的震情监视及预测预报上将提供有用的资料,也供同行分析本区强震作参考。
Due to the prominent geological structure of the area, there are few direct foreshocks and sudden strong earthquakes before the strong earthquakes. Therefore, it is difficult to predict the strong earthquakes in this area. However, in order to monitor the earthquake conditions in this area, we conducted some research on the seismicity of the strong earthquakes in this area. Based on the data analysis of more than 80 years, we initially found that there is a clear stage in the strong earthquake activity in this area Before the strong earthquake, the anomalous activities of the moderate-strong earthquakes are clear and the related earthquakes are coordinated with them. If combined with the small earthquakes and the low b-values of the earthquakes, they can be further used as discriminant conditions for the occurrence of strong earthquakes in the future. The earthquake monitoring and prediction in our province will provide useful information, but also for peer analysis of strong earthquake in this area for reference.
