Based on the living conditions of people in the Middle Ages in Britain, this article explores the ethical issues of life and death, sin and repentance, free will and grace, and points out an ethical quest for those in difficulty. This ethical direction contains not only the traditional ethics of Christianity, but also the new religious ethics, which establishes the basic moral standards of the modern British people.
