长兴化学工业公司以加快产业升级,将化学工业从资本劳力密集产业发展成高附加价值,高技术,低污染及高度自动化的层次为目标,长期注重研究开发工作。长兴早期生产涂料用树脂,到1984年,开始进行多角化经营,随着印刷电路基板厂的完工运转正式跨入电子化学品的领域,并于1987年开始投入干膜光阻剂的开发,1989年成功推出干膜光阻剂产品,市场占有率快速爬升,于是持续投入系列电子材料的开发,如液态防焊光阻、电著光阻等,并预计随着台湾电子产业的发展而加大其电子材料化学品发展的比重,同时也计划延伸光阻剂
