Myocardial-like cells present in the pulmonary veins play a very important role in the development of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Therefore, the study of the physiological characteristics of these cardiomyocytes has very important practical significance. Due to the lack of effective separation of these muscle cells, the corresponding scientific research has been greatly restricted. This article describes an innovative method of separating pulmonary vein muscle cells, the key point of this method is the combination of retrograde aortic transcatheter arterial infusion and pulmonary anastomotic pulmonary venous perfusion to maximize the effective perfusion of pulmonary vein muscle microenvironment . The number and activity of pulmonary vein myocytes obtained by this method were significantly higher than the traditional methods of cardiac perfusion digestion.
