The purpose of this article is to explore the impact of oral strategies and teaching methods on oral learning of non-English majors in the public English Level II (PETS2) oral test environment. The results show that the training and use of communicative strategies improves learners ’oral communicative competence and effectively improves learners’ oral success rate through PETS2. I.
