在英国浪漫主义作家中,柯勒律治占有特殊位置。其诗作不多,但仅《古舟子咏》《忽必烈汗》和《克丽斯托贝尔》三首就确立了其声誉并饮誉整个浪漫主义诗坛,被视为英国诗歌中的奇葩瑰宝。纵观学术界有关柯勒律治诗歌的研究,基本上停留在纯粹的审美范畴。本文试图跳开诗学审美范畴,以东方主义视角切入,从文本出发,结合早期浪漫主义的全球化语境即工业革命和海洋扩张,具体分析柯勒律治诗歌中的东方主义色彩。
Among British romantic writers, Coleridge occupies a special place. His poems are not many, but only the three poems of “Ku Zhou Zi Yong”, “Kublai Khan” and “Christopher Bell” established their reputation and praised the entire romantic poetic world, which is regarded as a wonderful gem in English poetry. Throughout the academic research on Coleridge’s poetry, basically stays in a purely aesthetic category. This article tries to jump off the aesthetic category of poetics, cut from the perspective of orientalism, and proceed from the text. Combining the globalization context of early romanticism, that is, industrial revolution and ocean expansion, this thesis analyzes the orientalism in Coleridge’s poetry specifically.
