1843~1941年,确乎是上海城市发展历程中令人目眩的黄金世纪。因为最晚到1860年代以后,上海在对外贸易、现代工业、商业和金融等领域的生产规模和技术水平,都已经位居中国内地所有城市的前列。仅此一项,似乎足以令那个充满民族屈辱年代里的中国人、特别是上海人引以为自豪的了。然而,在上海经济大厦的资本构成里面,中外双方各自占据着多大的比重、走着怎样的道路、起着何种的作用呢?笔者的初步研究发现,在近代上海的两大支柱产业——对外贸易和现代工业的发展中,来自日本方面的投资,客观上起到了举足轻重的促进作用。
From 1843 to 1941, it was indeed the dazzling golden century in Shanghai’s urban development. Because no later than the 1860s, Shanghai’s production scale and technological level in foreign trade, modern industry, commerce and finance have all been at the forefront of all cities in mainland China. This alone seems to be enough to make the Chinese, especially Shanghai people, proud of the years of humiliating humiliation. However, in the capital structure of Shanghai Economic Building, both domestic and foreign occupy the proportion of each, what kind of road is going to play a role? The author’s preliminary study found that the two major pillar industries in modern Shanghai - In foreign trade and the development of modern industry, the investment from Japan has played a pivotal role in promoting objectively.
