1972年,山西省太谷县水秀公社郭家堡大队高忠丽同志在大田发现一株不育小麦。几年来该大队与一些研究单位协作搞三系配套,主攻保持系,至今还未筛选出有完全保持能力的品种或有完全恢复力的品种。1976年,我组从郭家堡大队引进这份材料。经过三年研究,通过细胞学观察,并结合多年的数据分析,初步确定这个太谷不育小麦是“无花粉型”的,它的细胞质是正常的,不育性是由一个显性雄性不育单基因所控制的。这是小麦中第一次被发现的一个天然突变体,并给它命名为 Ta 1。不育株与任何普通小麦杂交,F_1就分离出可育与不育各半,没有中间类型,但农艺性状分离却丰富多采,因而作为育种工具,其价值很大。
In 1972, Comrade Gao Zhongli of Guo Jiabao Brigade of Shuixiu Commune in Taigu County, Shanxi Province, discovered a sterile wheat in Daejeon. In recent years, the brigade has collaborated with some research institutes on the three-departmental support and the main maintenance department, so far it has not yet screened out varieties that have full capacity or have complete resilience. In 1976, our group imported this material from Guo Jiabao Brigade. After three years of research, through cytological observation, combined with years of data analysis, initially determined that this Taigu sterile wheat is “pollen-free”, its cytoplasm is normal, infertility is dominated by a dominant male Single gene control. This is the first natural mutant found in wheat and named it Ta 1. The male sterile lines were crossed with any common wheat, F_1 separated fertile and sterile half, with no intermediate type, but agronomic traits are rich and diverse, so it has great value as a breeding tool.
