案情回顾2000年9月5日某省某报社的记者以《做手术做成了哑巴》为题发表了一篇新闻报道。该报道这样描述:“20年前一次不大的食管憩室切除术,使患者成了哑人。1980年11月,该患者因感到喉部不适,到某市中心医院进行检查治疗并进行了食管憩室切除手术,这本是一个小手术,但就是这次小手术伤及了他的喉返神经,导致失音,从此有口不能言......”。
