Global dependence Deepensing an important and salient feature of today’s world is the ever-increasing economic globalization and regional integration. This first manifests itself in the development of world trade. In 1995, the total volume of global trade and exports exceeded 10 trillion U.S. dollars for the first time, accounting for the first time in more than one-third of the world’s GDP. This means that 30 cents of the $ 1 produced in the world today is related to the trade of nations or regions. Not only that. For more than half a century, we can find from the economic statistics that there is a steady correlation and interaction between world trade and economic growth. For every one percentage point increase in the world economy, trade tends to increase by more than two percentage points. Global trade has exceeded one-third of the world’s gross output value. The fact that this shows that the countries of the world are becoming more and more economically interdependent.
