叠置原理也称组合原理,是形式语义学中求解复合成分语义的一条重要的计算原理。在形容词修饰语的研究中,原理的运用所遇到的困难是形容词的语义具有语境敏感性,形名之间逻辑关系复杂。在语义表征方面,两种基本的解决方案是将形容词处理为一个算子或者是一个带参数的谓词。在简化形名关系的同时,一个重要的动态是将逻辑规则和百科知识结合起来。这是一条扎根于数理知识的语义研究路线,在自然语言理解中具有重要影响。
The stacking principle, also known as the principle of composition, is an important computational principle for solving the semantics of composite components in formal semantics. In the research of adjective modifiers, the difficulty encountered in the application of principles is that the semantics of adjectives are context-sensitive and the logical relations between the forms are complicated. In terms of semantic representation, two basic solutions are to treat an adjective as an operator or a predicate with arguments. While simplifying the relationship between form and name, one important dynamic is the combination of logical rules and encyclopedic knowledge. This is a semantic research line rooted in mathematical knowledge, which has an important influence on natural language understanding.
