The garment industry is a global industry with an annual output value of 240 billion U.S. dollars. From 1980 to 1990, the world’s apparel import and export volume increased from 40.9 billion U.S. dollars to 113.4 billion U.S. dollars, with an average annual growth rate of 10.5%, exceeding the growth of textiles. In China, clothing exports have accounted for 63% of the export value of textile products, accounting for one-eighth of the world’s garment exports. Some companies have entered the international high-end apparel market. For example, Beijing Shunmei Garment Co., Ltd. was officially registered in Japan with “Shunmei Garments” in 1991 and received Mitsui and Mitsubishi.
