《全日制义务教育音乐课程标准(实验稿)》指出:“音乐与相关文化是音乐课人文学科属性的集中体现,是直接增进学生文化素养的学习领域。它有助于扩大学生的音乐文化视野,促进学生对音乐的体验与感受,提高学生鉴赏、表现、创造以及艺术审美的能力”。这个领域包括了音乐与社会生活、音乐与姊妹艺术、音乐与艺术之外的其他学科等各方面,其特点是知识面广、信息量大、参与性强。音乐教学不仅是音乐的学习,同时也是文化的学习,因此在音乐教学中进行相关文化的渗透,成为音乐教学的重要内容。
