黄土高原属于干旱,半干旱地区,那里地表水缺乏,工农业及民用水主要靠黄土区的潜水。该区黄土层潜水均被周围沟谷切穿,得不到侧向迳流补给。浅切割的支沟平时干涸无水,深切割的支沟排泄地下水,因此,大气降水垂直入渗几乎是塬区黄土潜水唯一补给来源。过去在资源评价时,往往是用入渗系数法,仅对饱和带进行计算。但是,黄土塬区地下水埋深达数十米,降雨入渗必须通过较厚包气带才能补给潜水。所以应该研究水份在包气带
