《南方》是艾伟小说创作生涯中又一次崭新的尝试,也是一次有意义的探索。小说采用侦探小说的“虚伪的形式”从三个视角讲述了三个故事:一个是杜天宝(“他”)的故事,一个是肖长春(“你”)的故事,一个是罗忆苦(“我”)的故事。三个故事的话语形态彼此独立、平行,而其内在结构又相互关涉、交织,共同构成一个完整的关于人性和历史的寓言文本。艾伟在小说中展示了人性的善、恶、高尚、堕落、忏悔等,并以冻库、蛇等意象隐喻两个不同的时代。在这部亡魂的忏悔录里,艾伟努力突破既定的叙事格局和观念,以扎实、稳健的叙事觅求当代小说的突围和转变。
“South” is another brand new attempt in Ai Wei’s novel creation career, which is also a meaningful exploration. The novel adopts the “hypocritical form” of detective stories to tell three stories from three perspectives: one is the story of Du Tianbao and the other is the story of Xiao Changchun (“You”), One is the story of Lo Yi Ku (“I”). The forms of discourse of the three stories are independent and parallel to each other, and their internal structures are related and intertwined to form a complete allegory text about human nature and history. Ai Wei shows the goodness, evil, nobleness, degradation, repentance and so on of human nature in the novel, and metaphors two different periods with images of frozen library and snake. In this souls confession recorded, Ai Wei strives to break through the established narrative structure and concept, with a solid, steady narrative to seek the breakthrough and transformation of contemporary novels.
