With the gradual establishment of the socialist market economic system and the deepening of institutional reforms, some new situations are faced with the archives work of grassroots units. Most prominently, most archivists at the grass-roots level have multiple posts and heavy tasks; archivists are frequently mobilized and unfamiliar with the business. Those newly appointed comrades, who are highly enthusiastic and bent on doing a good job, suffer from unfamiliar business and do not know where to start. Heads of units are also worried about this. They urgently demand that “Hunan Archives” be their solution. To this end, this issue from the first issue of this year, “Archives Job Getting Started” column, and an associate professor of Xiangtan University, Wang Guangyu, an article written for leadership and archivists reference for grass-roots units. The full text is divided into 10 parts, will be staged in series.
