何阿平的美术作品第一眼就会印象深刻。粗看内容紧实,画面饱满,细看细节,精致、令人过目不忘。从何阿平的画中看出他是一位非常热衷于写生,且热爱自己家乡的画家。他的美术作品中多描绘的是云南版纳一带特有的雨林植被。每一片叶茎、每一条藤蔓都细致的刻画出来。线描重彩、兼工带写的创作手法又能让整个作品明确体现出色彩与结构的结合,表现远与近、虚与实、明与暗的关系。细节之处谨细,却不失大气。
