短枝型苹果以矮化、早实、丰产和管理省工等优点,成为苹果矮化密植栽培中大有希望的途径之一。为了探讨短枝型苹果的生产性能和丰产栽培技术,烟台市果树科学研究所(原烟台地区果树实验站)于1976年春,利用当地选出的青香蕉短枝型新品种——烟青作试材,在重粘土上建立丰产栽培技术试验园1.33亩,株距2.5米,行距3米,共119株,平均每亩89株。砧木为福山小海棠。
Spur-apple is one of the most promising ways to plant dwarfing and planting in apple with advantages of dwarfing, early fruiting, high yield and managing labor. In order to investigate the production performance and high-yielding cultivation techniques of spur-apple, Yantai Institute of Fruit Science (formerly Yantai Fruit Tree Experimental Station) was used in the spring of 1976.
