记者日前从交通部得到消息,“十一五”期间,交通部将启动以长江“黄金水道”为重点的内河水运建设,加大对长江航道和内河港口等基础设施的投入力度。同时,将重点实施航道治理、港口建设、船型标准化、三峡过坝运输扩能、水运保障、干支联动等建设工程。交通部有关负责人介绍说,今年交通部将健全长江沿江省市水运发展协调机制,加大《长江干线航道发展规划》实施力度。至2010年,完成长江口深水航道整治三期工程,达到12.5米水深并向上延伸,航运条件明显改善。

At the same time, it will focus on the construction of waterway management, port construction, ship standardization, capacity expansion of the Three Gorges Dam, water transport security and dry-branch linkage. According to the person in charge of the Ministry of Communications, this year, the Ministry of Communications will improve the coordination mechanism for the development of water transport along the Yangtze River in cities and provinces and intensify the implementation of the “Development Plan for the Channel of the Yangtze River Mainstream.” By 2010, Phase III of the Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project will be completed, reaching a depth of 12.5 meters and extending upwards, thus significantly improving the shipping conditions.
